The renovation included remodeling the entrance lobby and main corridor to create a space that is more contemporary in appearance and that is welcoming and user friendly in order to aid in student recruitment and retention.

The Bursar’s Office,IU Credit Union and Alumni Office were relocated to a space off the main entrance corridor in order to provide a high degree of visibility.

The project also included the remodeling of the Chancellor’s Boardroom, Chancellor’s Dining Room and Alumni Room to provide more functional spaces.

A complete remodeling of the School of Business and Economics was done in order to provide faculty and administrative offices that comply with IU standards. The scope of work includes demolition/replacement of interior partitions, new floor, wall and ceiling finishes and upgrades to the lighting and information technology systems.

The initial phase was completed in September, 2008 with subsequent phases completed in December, 2008. Total cost for all phases of the renovation is approximately $7.5M.
